downloading script

downloaded RTF; opened doc with WORD; apostrophes turned into mumbo-jumbo.

any way i could avoid that?
do i really have to buy/rip Final Draft to get a clean copy of my script?

no, final draft isn't necessary at all - we're looking into the apostrophes/character-encoding issue now. i'll post an update here when we've fixed it.

maybe try saving it in plain text t(.txt) format then paste it into a word doc or RTF

If in doubt you could just press control-f and then replace all the mumbo jumbo with the apostrophes. thats what i did with my script.

yup, i can fix different symbols (' - ... and so on)
i also noticed that any continued dialogue of the same character no longer has the - (cont'd) - sign...
how can i add it without going through the whole text line by line?

We're still working on a fix for this - sorry for the delay.
