JOHN is eating. ASHLEY is rushing, getting ready. She has a bunch of papers in her hands. She is dressed to go to work (elegant). ROBERT is eating with JOHN. ASHLEY hugs both of them.
ASHLEY leaves the building to her car. She gets in. She throws her stuff in the back, not caring. She is angry.
Nothing. She sees blood. She follows it, curious, but cautious. It leads to their bedroom. ROBERT is dead on the floor. ASHLEY is shocked. She looks for JOHN. She cant find him. The phone rings. She answers it. The voice is muffled and she is unable to hear who is talking.

I'm afraid I am unable to answer that. I promise I have no intention of harming your son. Just give me what I want and you will get him back, untouched.
