You know...it didn't really hit me until I got home from the vet. I emptied out the bag that they gave me and in there was the paperwork and his belongings. Seeing his collar just brought back all the memories. I remember he used to do this thing where he would just place his face on the bed since he wasn't allowed to get on it and he'd just stare at you with his big eyes waiting for your permission for him to get on. During my last week that I had with him I grilled steak and chicken for him to have a feast before he passed. He'd slobber if you held a treat in front of him for more than 5 seconds. I used to hate it but now I'd do anything to see him again.
