In a suburban version of Heaven, Eli Marsh finds himself in a waiting room to enter heaven after his death. After his first two days, Eli grows frustrated thinking about his old life and seeing bits and pieces of memories. The town mayor instructs him to go to a group therapy session to let go of his old life, and welcome the afterlife. But it isn't as easy as they think with Eli.
