The Three of UsRegina Henderson was a loved and respected woman who died after refusing chemotherapy for her cancer.
Four years later, her eldest child, Sophie Henderson, married and divorced two years ago and is now twenty-one and living alone. Her life is stagnant and empty, and she suddenly starts to see her mother everywhere.
Jacqueline Henderson is seventeen and at a boarding school when she finally falls in love with her best friend, and shortly thereafter becomes pregnant.
Barbara Henderson is fifteen and an alcoholic in denial who meets a twenty-one-year-old and thinks she may have found love.
Through their individual stories, the three girls grow together in a way they never thought would happen.
