Jake is shown in class, talking to his friends. They are all dressed in their preppy clothes and talking to some girls. The camera goes around the classroom, showing all the other students. Shanna is talking with Jake. Katie is lazily looking between the board and her friends who include Jamie who is completely stoned and staring into space, every once and a while saying something. Mickey is alone, looking around the room while leaning back in his chair. Only Richie is paying attention to the teacher, and raises his hand to ask a question.

The camera starts in a dark room, and light is seen beyond a door. It approaches and goes into the light, which turns out to be the school. Tons of teens are walking in the hallway acting like they do. The opening credits commence with some sort of music, preferably slow rock, but others are ok.
