Saira is a muslim girl born into a wealthy family residing in India since Partition, like all her comrades she always dreamt of having a loving husband; luck did favoured her when she met Salim and both fell in love with each other. Life is now like a dream ride for her but suddenly her world is turned upside down due to some unexpected and bizarre events.
The story deals with Saira's ordeal and how she cope up with the emotional and psychologocal turmoil she finds herself in.
