Quick pitch

A missionary visits the character's house and attempts to convert her to his religion. The character is trying to get rid of him just as a storm warning alarm goes off. The character feels she can't send the missionary out into the storm, so she lets him come down into her basement with her. This is going to be a long storm.

i'm thinking a little more character development. i like where you are going with him being a little uncommon for a missionary. i think it would be great to have a real split in his "missionary" persona. so that the audience gets a glimpse at the start...then a completely different "character" that he puts on as missionary. so the question should be, is he really a missionary? and if he is, what got him into it?

the other part is, why does she agree to let him in? it seems unlikely. i think there should be a lot more hesitation. i think she should want desperately to NOT let him in. and be arguing with him but he is unrelenting...then the phone rings, and he lets himself in...

what do u think about that direction? it leaves a lot more conflict to be resolved in the current section and in the future....
