Quick pitch
A Filk convention creates mayhem in the universe when the Filker's performances inadvertently summon an otherworldly entity/supernatural force. The Filkers must somehow contain the entity before it alters our world forever. Can they Filk their way out of this mess and save the world ? I'm thinking kind of a Trekkies + Ghostbusters + A Mighty Wind + Shaun of the Dead ungodly contrivance. Hopefully with Ricky Gervais in the cast somewhere.
