Jewish philosopher Hannah Arendt is sent on assignment to cover Adolf Eichmann's trial in Jerusalem. As she attempts to probe the psyche of a supposed genocidal madman, she gains insight into her own relationships with friends, lovers, and Judaism.

I guess it makes for good drama though. His guilt is so thoroughly documented. His defense is going to have to be carefully crafted. Although I doubt even Clarence Darrow could save this guy from the galleys.

Of course, and I think I'm going to Israel to cover the trial. William already approved, but the trial won't be for another six months now.
