2. Act 5 Scene 2

Slugline; INT. Desdemona's room.

Action: Othello is under her bed with his sword.

Othello: Oh Desdemona , you are quite a specimen. Here you lay, under my microscope, the disease of a country as well as the sickening cell that weakens my heart. But I won't kill you with drugs, oh no. But you will die, or your frenzy will spread to other men and weaken their fight.

Action:He moves to the side of the bed to peak at her.

Othello: But without sickness, how will I know health? How I will fall back into the comfort of a diseased slumber.

Action: He kisses her.

Othello: Her flesh tastes so bittersweet, I could do all but bite her.

Action: Desdemona wakes up with a sword drawn.

Desdemona: I warn you, I am an armed wife of an Italian soldier. Who are you?

Othello: You sure you don't mean Turkish!

Desdemona: Oh! Othello! Come to bed, you scared me!

Othello: Nah, I'm good. So hey, Dear. Have you, by any chance, prayed tonight? Counted all the awful things you may have done?

Desdemona: What do you mean? I haven't done anything.

Othello: I can. Have you heard the new joke about the Turkish soldier's wife and the Italian soldier's wife?

Desdemona: No, tell me it.

Othello: Oh, that's because she's the same person and jokes usually die with the people they're about.

Desdemona: Are you saying you're going to kill me?

Othello: We have a winner!

Desdemona: I haven't done anything! Why are you trying to hurt me when you say you love me?

Action:Othello bites his lip and clenches his fists.

Othello: Why don't you ask Cassio? By the way, tell him I want back my locket that YOU GAVE HIM.

Desdemona: I didn't give him that! Bring him here!

Othello: Listen you spying little Turk, you gon' die today.

Desdemona: But not yet.

Othello: You know you spied on me for him. You know you only married me for him. Either way, you're going to die. Die with dignity. Admit it.

Desdemona: Lord Jesus give me patience. I am not a spy. I am full bred Italian, you've seen my dad. Cassio isn't a Turk either., he's your best friend. Please understand.

Action: Desdemona shakes him; he throws her and draws his sword.

Othello: I saw him wear my locket. You know that's a war heirloom. Don't try to make me regret this, you deserve to die.

Desdemona: Bring him here and ask him.

Othello: He already told me you're married.

Desdemona: You're lying! Is he dead?

Othello: Oh, BUT HE'S NOT YOUR MAN? Why do you care if he's alive then?

Desdemona: Listen, we can get a divorce it that's what you wanna believe, but don't kill me!

Othello: SO YOU CAN LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER WITH HIM AND TELL HIM ALL THE DETAILS OF THE WAR?!

Desdemona: Kill me tomorrow!

Othello: SO YOU CAN SEND THE TURKS TO AMBUSH US?! Nah Goodbye!

Action: Stabs her.

Action: Emilia knocks on the door!

Emilia: Othello!

Othello: Damn, she still breathing. She can't suffer like this.

Action: Stabs her again.

Othello: She's probably gonna tell me about the dirty Turks death.
