In this bizarre, Pythonesque, sketch, at a small general/corner store, a cashier is at his first day on the job. When his boss leaves and puts him in charge, he goes through a series of odd events that lead him to discover his true place in life.

The scene opens to a corner store, line with several shelves of everyday day goods, a door and window on one side, and a counter with register on the other. There are two people standing behind the counter. One is an older man who is balding with a small mustache, he is the manager of the store; the Boss. The other is a young man in his early twenties who has just been hired by the Boss to become the store's new cashier. The Boss is showing the Cashier everything he needs to know to work at the store.
