My main duty at the games is to cheer on my son. Sometimes the team mother makes one of us work the snack bar,
(under her breath)

but usually I just set up camp here and root for my boy!

And I swear if Timmy's father misses one more game I'm going to lose it. He has "work". Which is his way of saying his kids don't matter.
(looking over to a mom carrying a stack of pizza boxes)
Who's genius idea was it to bring pizza to a soccer game?? As if they need to carbo load now right?? These kids are ATHLETES, the LAST thing they need is fried dough covered in cheese. AM I RIGHT??

The sliding door opens abruptly, and multiple, loud children burst into the car. Not only do they have backpacks, but they are all carrying bags of soccer balls and water bottles which invade the space. TIMMY sits behind his mom. EMILY, dressed in dance gear quietly sits next to Timmy.

As she's speaking, Linda picks up a pen and writes "DOCTOR APPOINTMENT", "PTA MEETING" and "BIRTHDAY PARTY" all for the same day.
