Vic realizes that the discomfort of losing at everything he tries to do, isn't nearly as bad as the mind-numbing dullness of his everyday existence which is completely devoid of excitement. So, he sets out to be exactly what he expects to be: a loser. By removing his expectations of being successful at what he attempts, he discovers the enjoyment of the process over the result. Vic has so much fun being a loser, he ups the ante of every new challenge, fully expecting to come in last place each time. As Vic accepts more and more challenges, he gets in over his head. Along the way, Vic makes new friends, and some new foes who believe losers like Vic need to be kept down. Vic discovers that life really isn't about whether you win or lose -- it's how you play the game.
