a documented innocent, whimsical teenage romp in the forest becomes a horror movie when a horrifying stranger comes out of nowhere and scares the crap out of them. It's sole purpose in the movie is to mock them by toying with their wits, and driving these kids to insanity. They lose their way in the forest (of course) and the whole drive of the movie is finding their way back home, and realizing that the house is unlocked- ANYONE could get in. That's when it gets really scary- knowing that 'the Man' could be waiting for you in the only safe place you have that night. It's a race to find their way back to the house, get inside, lock the doors, and pray that 'The Man' doesn't find them, when he is with them all along.
