What happened before the start of the film. Help fill in the background.

I have frozen the writing of the screenplay for the moment so we can focus on the structure and the characters. Please refer to the two thread on ASOA for more details about the future actions.

Thank you all for your ideas and the new scenes! For the moment, I'll just let the screenplay develop a bit so that fresh ideas can add themselves to the original outline. Keep adding and editing! And feel free to add more scenes from the original outline if you feel inspired by any of them.

I imagine a bare room that looks like it could once have been a church hall lit by patchy fluorescent lighting. It is full of people, dressed in normal street clothes. A lot of the people seem almost embarrassed to be there. Some people begin to undress and the rest follow. Under their clothes they are all dressed up to the neck in these weird body suits...
