The ReaderA feature-length film based on the award winning novel by Bernhard Schlink. It is set in Germany, in the aftermath of World War II, elementing the guilt and forgiveness connecting a younger generation with the older generation- who have the responsibility of the terrible genocide set on their shoulders.
It is also a love story, a young boy involved in a sexual relationship with woman several years older than him, a woman who was a former guard in a concentration camp. The story is mulitlayered- love, war, hate, forgiveness, betrayal
