This should be a fun, whimsical, movie, about a girl who has a second chance to re-discover who she is. At the end she does, and she is completely transformed.
Even though the storyline sounds very cliche, I plan to write it in a non-cliche manner.

i like it, but i think the first shot should be an establishing shot, showing the guests arriving. it would give more melancholy, you can delay introducing the main character and increase her importance (especially with the right music in the background) and the suicide attempt would have a greater payoff

From reading the very first lines, I was in love with this script. Someone should contact me. I am very seriously interested in helping further develop this script and even possibly... eventually... making it into a film.
